Ocean City Rec. Skate Camps
We hope to see you this summer for our Skate Camps. Learn to skate while having fun at the Ocean City Skatepark!
Here are the important details:
What to Bring:
You will need to have your skateboard, a helmet, elbow pads, and knee pads. We also recommend you bring a water/drink.
Time:
5:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday - Thursday (*Friday will be a make up day due to bad weather)

Skater to Instructor Ratio:
We offer a 5 to 1 Skater to Instructor ratio for our camps. This ensures that each camper will have enough supervision and attention.
Age Range- 6 - 9 years old
We recommend ages 6 and up. We have found 6 to be about the age where the kids really start comprehending the lessons, which helps them keep up and grow from lesson to lesson. Kids younger than 6 need much more attention than older kids, which would take too much time away from the rest of the campers.
Grouping
The kids will be put into groups based mainly on skill level (Groups of 5). Each group will be assigned an instructor who will be their main teacher for the week. By the end of the first day, it will be made clear to each camper which group they are in and who their instructor is.
-Limited Registration
Daily Schedule:
First 5 minutes- Waiting for kids to arrive and put on pads
Next 5 minutes- Group huddle and stretch to prepare for skating
Half Hour Skate Session in groups
5-10 minutes water break
Half Hour Skate Session in groups
Last 5-10 minutes Group huddle and camp end
